Discuss PVC and plastic roll converting with Bengal. Review thickness, material construction, slit widths, cores, winding direction, and delivery requirements.
The Bengal Group reviews PVC and plastic roll converting requests for customers that need material in a different width or roll format. Share your incoming stock details and the requirements of the production line that will use the converted material.
Identify whether the stock is flexible film, a heavier-gauge material, coated, embossed, laminated, or supplied with a protective layer. These details affect the review of handling, cutting, and winding requirements.
Specify thickness, orientation, and surface protection
Give thickness with units and describe any surface that must face inward or outward. Where a release liner or protective layer is present, state whether it must remain with the material throughout converting.
Supply the parent width, diameter, weight, and core dimensions. List each finished width and quantity rather than leaving the team to infer an assortment from a total volume.
Finished core inside diameter and any restrictions on core material.
Maximum finished roll diameter, weight, or target length.
Width tolerance, edge requirements, and splice restrictions.
Wrapping, pallet orientation, lot identification, and storage or handling instructions.
Confirm equipment fit before sending the load
Bengal operates multiple rewinders with different dimensional limits. The widest listed incoming-roll capability is 143 inches on one machine; this is not a universal limit for every substrate or output combination.
Ask for a review of the complete material and roll specification. Where suitability is uncertain, discuss a sample or trial and agree how the output will be approved.
Plan the quantity and the delivery date together
Tell the team whether the work is a one-time job, an overflow run, or part of a recurring supply program. State when material can arrive, the finished quantity needed, and the required date at your receiving dock.
Warehousing and staged releases can be discussed when they support the converting job. Include those requirements in the quote request so the team can review the full handling plan.
FAQ
Does the published machine matrix confirm a PVC job will run?
No. The matrix is a starting point for dimensional review. Material construction, thickness, surface requirements, incoming dimensions, and finished output must be assessed together.
Can the finished rolls use a different core size?
Include the requested core inside diameter and finished roll limits in your specification. Bengal will confirm the available machine and core combination for the material.
Send your material, incoming dimensions, required output, approximate quantity, and delivery date. We will review the job and confirm what is needed to prepare a quote.
